Title: Shirley's Art Works 953 & Xieyi 520-A283-Shirley's 354th Assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts --Dec 27-29, 2012 |
Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 80cm x 180cm (31.49inches x 70.86inches) |
Completed Time: Dec 29, 2014 |
Remarks: This is my 20th Portrait painting, the 520th Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 952th painting since 2003 and the 354th assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
I created this painting for matching a Chinese Classical Poem by Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) poet Liu Zongyuan (773¡ª819) Jiang Xue:
½Ñ© - Ji¨¡ng Xu¨§
ÌÆ - T¨¢ng
Áø×ÚÔª - Li¨³Z¨ngyyu¨¢n
ǧɽÄñ·É¾ø - Qi¨¡ng sh¨¡n ni¨£o f¨¥ng ju¨¦£¬ Íò¾¶ÈË×ÙÃð - w¨¤n j¨¬ng r¨¦nz¨ng mi¨¨ mi¨¨¡£ ¹ÂÖÛËòóÒÎÌ - G¨±zh¨u su¨l¨¬w¨¥ng£¬ ¶Àµöº®½Ñ© - d¨² di¨¤o h¨¢n ji¨¡ng xu¨§¡£
There are no bird flying over the thousand mountains, There are no footprint on the ten thousand pathways. There is only an old man in the grass rain cape and bamboo hat in an boat, Fishing alone on the cold river in the snow.
Since I have not created a piece of music and an article to match it yet, so, instead of put this painting into my cross-culture and comprehensive art column, temporarily, I put it in the Chinese Xieyi Painting column.
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
