Remarks:
This is my 84th Chinese Xieyi -- Freehand Brushworks. For I did not satisfy my 83rd Chinese Xieyi -- A Failed Picture, so I re-paint the one new one I have corrected a lot of places on it.
After I completed it, I did feel that I have also completed the color draft for my new Chinese Gongbi or a Gouache painting. You will see a new picture with this composition of picture, but Chinese Gongbi & Xiyi styles together in 1 or 2 weeks... :-)
The happiest thing that this picture brings me is that I suddenly feel that I have had the ability to create and paint a chrysanthemum freely. I am able to paint a chrysanthemum with my brush directly already, need not to see any thing as an swatch, just paint according the feature in my mind. Ha! This is really a very delight feeling indeed.
Anyway, I also feel this picture is too clean, maybe I should add some small flowers or grass for the flower part. Do you think so?
How do you think of this picture? I am sure, you will be happy for my little progress, right?
