I created this picture to match a Chinese classical poem and to express the meaning that in a peaceful night, under the moonlight, what a poet had seen, had heard and had thought on a boat over a little stream by a mountain.

Also, I have written the calligraphy of the poem and created music to match it.

I imagine it in my mind from Monday to Wednesday and I started to paint it after my art lesson Thursday night, then, I corrected it on Saturday.

Once more, I felt that the most difficult part of creating a picture is not painting itself. It is the design and thought of its structure. Very often, I put a piece of whiter paper on my easel and I look at it with my imagination. Every time, after I have made the picture in my mind on the paper, I started to feel easy and relaxed.

I am using a new kind of paper, I have not master its characteristics yet, so, the water party is not good as it in my mind...

It is a pity that when I was painting, I dropped a black ink on one of the fish, so that I had to cover it with some thick color so that I have destroyed the color's transparent result. That is why, I will re-paint it in the upcoming time...

How do you think of this picture? Do you enjoy it?
