Remarks:
This is my 458 and 459Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 870th-871st painting since 2003, the 266th assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
I painted the two paintings for I wished to improve my own skills on the small flowers.
I am lucky enough that Mr. Lu Wenqing who is the tutor of students who are major in Chinese flower and bird paintings directly me in person with a very patient style. Then in our class, Professor Liu Wanming - the associate Dean of Chinese Painting College of Chinese National Academy of Arts gave me a good directions.
According to their directions, I re- painted it.
How do you think of the two paintings? Which one is better in your opinion? Do you like I color the background or not?
