Remarks: This is my 43rd Chinese Mogu Painting and my 946th painting since 2003.
Also, it is my 350th assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
After completing 5 big size paintings, I wanted to paint some small paintings, to rethink something about method to paint a Chinese Mogu painting on the silk.
Then you can not imagine how long I worked on the small painting. :-)
Once and once, I wanted to find the reason why the Chinese silk could not keep the colors there and what the difference of Chinese Gongbi and Chinese Xieyi paintings. :-)
  Then I realized:
-- Both of the paintings use the lines. -- To drafted a Chinese Mogu painting is similar to a Chinese Gongbi painting. -- The colors are same, but Chinese Gongbi requiest the better materials.
Then the key is the water:
-- Chinese gongbi is wet, but the moisture is less; Chinese Mogu is wet, but its moisture much more.
-- Chinese Gongbi's color basically is wiped by the water brush, therefore, it is not too wet; Chinese Mugo painting¨s color is dry by itself, to keep the traces on the painting...
So, even though I did not satisfy this painting, I did feel I have gotten a lot among the experience of painting. How do you think of this painting, do you enjoy it?
