                                  | Remarks: This is my 19th Chinese Gongbi painting that I have worked on it for about 2 weeks in my free time.

In the few thousand years' Chinese culture, butterfly has been the symbolization of love. People often admire some beautiful or sad love via butterflies.

I have had painted some with My Gouache Painting in the past time for it is really a beautiful nature thing´

Now I have given this picture a title "Butterfly Lovers" to match a beautiful Chinese folk story and a famous Chinese Violin Concerto -- Butterfly Lover and hope you enjoy it.

I painted this picture on a white silk, but, for I wanted to created a background for it with my mountains -- I wanted to move the composition of My Chinese Xieyi Painting that I am trying in my art lesson into My Chinese Gongbi Painting . But, I did not do it well for I had making the background seem like a little bit dirty.

This is my second time to paint on a silk. I have not mastered the skill well. So, I do not think that I have painted this picture good as same as I had imagined in my mind... :-)

So, I will try to paint it with Gouache and Chinese Gongbi styles once more and to try to find my own way to paint on the silk... :-)

Oh, here is my first Chinese Gongbi painting on the silk ? Beautiful Dreamer What is your thought about the two pictures? Do you more like a Gongbi picture with a background or not?
