Completed Time: June 20, 2014 |
Remarks: Since I would like to leave for Shenzhen on June 25, as a volunteer teacher, I gave my last lesson to the 20 adult students at Shuangqiu Road Resident Community.
Since May 9 until now, aimed at they had not done any painting from the nature yet, I led them to do that 3 times, to help them to find the best teacher who is just around of them, that is just the great nature. Because, in the ancient China, those masters worked just from learning nature, and showed them how the master in the ancient times, especially in Song Dynasty how to paint from the nature.
Then, aimed most of them had painted some Chinese Xieyi Painting, but not touched any Chinese Gongbi and Baimiao yet, I gave each of them 9 kinds of Chinese Song Dynasty Paintings and showed them how to start a Chinese Gongbi Painting from Baimiao. Also, I gave each other them an an album of my paintings and a brush as a memory.
I was so touched for many of them worked so seriously and did so many excellent jobs. So, I told them, if I go back Beijing to study in Sept, I will certainly come back to share something I had learned earlier than them. Since I am not sure whether I will go back right now, so, I suggested them to find the other teacher. In case they cannot find anyone at once, they can learn from the nature by themselves, also, the data I gave them, can support them to study for a few months...
Anyway, no matter what will happen to them, I wished them to learn from the bamboo and never give up their dream. So, in the last lesson, I taught them to sing the poem Zhu Shi - Bamboos on the Rocks on the Stone and hope them to hold their dream and never give up.
With many smiles, we did the last work together.
At the end of the lesson, Ms. Li Juan - the director of culture office at Shuanqiu Road Resident Community came to take this photo for us.
