Remarks: This is my 211stChinese Xieyi Painting and it is one of my 381st pictures since 2003, the 11st picture that I have created in 2009 and the 13rd painting in the US.
The first thing that I most wanted to do after I went out of the examination room of Managerial Accounting was painting, singing and writing. So, I did them one by one on Saturday.
Anyway, for I was waiting for a promised mail, I failed on the peony 3 times -- Chinese Xieyi does no allow me to make any draft, I must paint with color and brusher directly, as long as one brush was wrong, whole of the picture is failed´ before completing the plum blossoms, I realized that I had painted too many, so that the picture looks like noise.
Even though I went to sleep at about 3:00am, I opened my eyes with a dream of how to calculate fixed cost or maybe equipment's salvage value at about 7:00... then I realized that the Managerial Accounting has passed, I should finish my writing and art jobs as soon as possible, then I should preview something for my new lesson on Monday.
However, when I looked at my painting last night, thought of why I did a bad job, I could not help slapping myself on the face, I was too childlike and to be impacted by the environment too easy. If I wanted to be a true artist, I must have a strong will, no matter what has happened, I should be able to have the ability to keep a peaceful heart to work on my art learning and creating. This is my dream for whole of my rest life; anything else can not shake it.
For me, art learning is not only for creating some works, the more importance is to anneal my own will quality and improve my art culture, to keep a calm and peaceful heart to see, to think and to treat anything good or bad in my life and in the environment.
So, I re-took out of my paper, brushers, colors and I re-painted it at 7:40am, then I finished it at 8:40 smoothly.
Anyway, this time, I felt the plum blossoms have been better, but, I painted too many leaves for the peonies, the peony's layers are not very clear and also, the colors of the mountains look like too deep.
In fact, this is a practice that I had done in my art lesson when I was in China, I did not think I had done a good job, so, I wanted to re-paint it.
It seems like not very ideal yet. But, I can not continue to work on it on the weekend again. I just put both of the pictures here and hope to hear your comments.
How do you think of the two picture, which one do you think a little bit better?
A good news is that my Chinese art teacher gave my last painting 91 marks. :-) I am happy for that. :-)
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn or yiping007@MissouriState.edu ,you can also publish your opinions on Message Board . :-)
