Remarks:
This is my 456th Painting since 2003 and the 34th Chinese Bai Mao.
As soon as I finished the hard studying in the US, I recovered my habit of taking my sketchbook with me. I created many birds as practice on the airplane from NYC to Hong Kong from Sep 30 to Oct 1.
Suddenly, I had an idea to bring these birds together and create a Chinese Baimiao, then a Chinese Gongbi.
So, I sketched the birds successfully in my sketchbook during that trip.
Last weekend, on another airplane flight from Shenzhen to Wuxi, I matched these birds with some trees and flowers, and I completed the draft in my mother's sickroom.
This Saturday, I re-drafted it on paper, corrected it, and created this Maimiao on silk.
