Chun Xiao -- A Spring Morning is a very simple but quite famous Chinese classical poem by a Tang Dynasty poet Meng Haoran. With just 4 lines and 20 Chinese characters, it has written out a very vivid and fresh slice of life.

This is my 50th Combined Paintingthat I created for Chinese Classical Poetry, andmy 623rd painting since 2003.Also, it is my 11st painting after I left from CAFA July 12, 2011.

I painted it to match a Chinese classical poem Shun Xiao -- Spring Morning by a poet of Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) Meng Haoran as the graphical interpretation of this peom.

MAIN MEANING OF THE PEOM :

Spring Morning

by Meng Haoran (Tang Dynasty)

Sleeping in a spring night, I've missed the dawn.
Eveywhere I heard the songs of birds.
In the night's wind and rain,
How many flowers have fallen?
