Remarks:
This is my 793rdd painting since 2003and the 432nd Chinese Xieyi Painting, the 188th assignment that I have completed in Chinese National Academy of Arts .

This is the 11st painting that I painted for the series stories and my long scroll¡¶¶þÊ®ËÄТ¡·: Er Shi Si Xiao Tu -- The Twenty-Four Dutiful Children .

This story names£º»ÆÏãÉÈÕíÎÂôÀ Huang Xiang Shan Zhen Wen Qin -- Huang Xian Cooled the Pillow in the Summer and Warmed the Quilt in the Winter for His Father.

Huang Xian lived in Jiangxia (in today's Wu Han, Hubei Province) in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220). When he was 9 years old, his mother passed away, he looked after his father in filial piety.

In the summer, before his father would like to go to sleep, always he cooled the pillow and mat by fanning it; in the winter, always he warmed the quilt for his father.

When he was young, he was very widely read and be accomplished in classics, his works were brimming with literary grace. It was said there was a word from mouth to mouth about him in the capital of the country: unparalleled in the world, it was Huang Xiang.

During the times of An Emperor (107 - 125) he became the viceroy of Weijun (in today's Hebei Province), when Weijun suffered the flood, he gave everything he had to help the flood victims.

With much respect, I painted this painting.

How do you think of it? Do you enjoy it?
