This is my 101st Combined Paintingthat I have created / painted for Chinese Classical Poetry, and my 953rd painting since 2003 ; my 355th assignment at Chinese National Academy of Arts.
I created this painting for matching a Chinese Classical Poem by Song Dynasty（960 -1279） poet Wang Anshi (1021－1086) Mei Hua - Plum Blossom:
The Main Meaning of the Poem and the Lyrics of the Song in English :
There are a few plum blossoms at the corner of the wall,
Flowering alone in the cold early spring,
I know they are not snow from far away place,
For their fragrance has come on with the breeze.
Original Poem, Lyrics of the Song in Chinese and Pronunciations
梅花 - méihuā
宋 - sòng
王安石- wáng ānshí
墙角数枝梅 - Qiángjiǎo shùzhī méi，
凌寒独自开 - líng hán dúzì kāi。
遥知不是雪 - Yáo zhī búshì xuě，
为有暗香来 - wèi yǒu àn xiāng lái。
墙角数枝梅 - Qiángjiǎo shùzhī méi，
凌寒独自开 - líng hán dúzì kāi。
遥知不是雪 - Yáo zhī búshì xuě，
为有暗香来 - wèi yǒu àn xiāng lái。
I have not created music and article for this poem yet. But I will do it after I finish the study of this semester and go back home. :-)
