Hi,Dear Friends
Merry Christmas!
I do wish you, your family members, co-workers, and friends a happy and lucky festival and an enjoyable holiday season.
On my side, two of the five or six cross-cultural and comprehensive art workshops during my 12th American trip have been working. The first one in an American Chinese Church has operated three times for over seven hours; the second one also began on Dec. 20.
After preparing for a long time and experiencing many overnight work sessions, I finally found and created some new teaching methods aimed at adults, especially local  American-Chinese participants, and mixed classes of children and adults. And I have given it a title: "Four-One Teaching Method." That means: One Poem + One Song / One Piece of Music + One Group of Calligraphy + One or Two Paintings. With this "Four-One" style, I aim to offer participants as much cultural knowledge and art techniques as possible.
A piece of good news is that even though it is in the busy holiday season, the number of participants in the first workshop increased by 38%, and there are still people asking if they can join us.
Anyway, as one of the main working parts (creating, teaching, researching, and web developing) of my cross- cultural and comprehensive art dream, creating a new teaching style is only the first step in a long journey. So,I am going to cherish my current travel time and continue to think and research, trying to create some of the best teaching methods for different groups of people.
