Hi,Dear Friends
 How are you? Have you started a good new week?
When you read this letter, maybe you will observe that the first photo in the letter has been changed to be a painting. :-)
This is one of my painting practices with brush directly. :-)
Since I came back Chinese National Academy of Arts from the Wuyi Mountains, Fujian Province, every night, after coming back from the classroom, I have been keeping painting some pictures with brushes directly before I go to sleep.
My feeling is that I am at the turning point from the necessity to the freedom. If I keep doing this job, I will walk up on a new step. So, this week, except painting 3 paintings in the classroom, I have also painted over 10 small- size paintings at home with the brush and Chinese ink directly. Anyway, only about 1 / 10 paintings in my opinion can be showed you. :- )
Do you know? I am going to paint a new small-size painting for every professor who had taught me in Missouri State University, I am going to update the 32 paintings that I sent them and the other friends as my Christmas gifts to them in 2009. I am ashamed now for I had sent something too bad to them. :- ) I must update these gifts with a sincere heart and a hard work.
For founding a stronger foundation down to earth, I have given up the 4 th opportunity to take part in some art show ( with paintings to exchange an advertisement ), his week, I completed my first Qīng Lǜ Shān Shuǐ Painting -- traditional landscape painting characterized by the prominence of blue and green colors, and now I am working on a bigger size classical landscape, and I plan to completed it in 1 week to 10 days.
I am thinking, since I am going to work in the art field for another 30 years, right now, I should catch the wonderful study opportunity in Beijing to learn as much as possible. At the first, become an excellent Chinese painting artist, then to be a comprehensive artist.
I guess this is maybe the balance point of the two poles of my life. One pole, I am living the worst matter life within the past 20 years – there is nothing except a table, a bed, an easel and some hardcover books in my simple apartment in a quite not ideal environment; the other pole, I am studying and enjoying the highest level spiritual life -- arts.
Days ago, someone who said that he understands Chinese traditional medicine looked at my face in my classroom and said that you did have some serious sicknesses, you could keep until now, just because your spirit.
My answer was: Yes.
I am sure, when a person has his/her life target and a dream, he or she would certainly find a balance point between the hard life condition and the delight heart and emotion. To live and study with a positive and optimistic life attitude, a peaceful heart and delight emotion, do you think so?
