Hi,Dear Friends
 How are you? Have you started a good new week?
Since I wrote to you last time, so many things have happened on my side.
Mostly, they relate to my comprehensive art project.
The good news:
-- With the good help of my former bosses and friends. Hopefully, I would be lucky enough to get some actual help and support from some best media in China.
-- Some authority organization has showed their interest in my project.
-- My school at Chinese National Academy of Arts will help me to publish some news to introduce my project in the only fine art newspaper of China.
-- Three of my paintings for the comprehensive art project have been chosen to be published in our new book that the school edited and be published formally.
-- My hardworking work style has gotten more respect. The general manger of the art gallery in the same building, Mr. Hai and his wife not only gave me their books, watermelon, but also told me that to find them if I need help. The other artists in the art gallery also often came to see my paintings and gave me some friendly directions.
-- I have gotten 2 invitations in the past 7 days to take part in some Bihui (to paint publicly), even though I had no time to go, while I do not think that I should go at this time, since I do not think that my basic skill is good enough yet, I need to focus myself on the basic training when I am at school. Anyway, that meant that I have started to have some new opportunities to enter the circle of artists in Beijing and it will also bring some income for me.
-- City of Pikeville in USA has sent another lady to write to me...
The bad news:
-- My long scroll (1,000cm x 180cm - 393.70 inches x 70.86 inches), the first Vocal, Bilingual Poetry & Painting Series was fail to be chosen in an activity that I took part in last Nov. With a peaceful heart, I have accepted this result since that is a fine art event and my job has gone beyond it too much, especially, I had written English on my Chinese paintings, it is really a blasphemy thing in the traditional Chinese painting field. :-)
Compare with the bad thing and the good things, my heart is full of the serenity, hope and confidence. Because I know what I am doing not matter on practice and theory. I am sure, I will be gotten much more understanding, help and support along with the time and my hard work.
Also, I have thought clearly, the most suitable places for me to develop my project should be Beijing and abroad.
So, I have rent a new apartment for my study in Beijing next class year already. There is a story about this:
I had seen an advertisement on the window of a little Clinique that I pass through 6 times each day, but I did not think of asking it, until a day, my heart was touched by an elder lady who was wiping the windowsills out of the house, so that I guessed this family should be quite clean? This was just somewhere I was looking for. So, I made a phone call on the road and I went to see the apartment in the evening.
It seemed like both of our two sides wished to be the tenant and the landlord. They would like to keep the apartment for me for about 20 days free since I had paid my current apartment until the end of July; I would like to pay them for August and the first half of Sept even though I will not be in Beijing for my summer vacation. It is just 5 minutes by walk to my classroom, quiet, clean and in a good environment. To live there, I will feel that I am in Beijing. :-)
When I write here, I cannot help smiling. Maybe the elder lady has not known that just a detail that she had done, has brought a new tenant for her house. Maybe to pay attention to the detail of a product and a detail service is just the key to attract and to reserve customers of a company or an organization?

I am just a student on Arts of Painting, Music, English and Management, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do somethings with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Cross - Culture and Comprehensive Arts Exchange, Chinese Culture and Language Learning & Friendship Making.
